About Middleburg, Virginia

Middleburg is a town in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States. The population was 632 at the 2000 census. It is the hometown of Wendy Pepper, the finalist on the hit TV show Project Runway, and is the headquarters of the singer Lisa Reagan. It is also where U.S. Senator John Warner lived with his wife, actress Elizabeth Taylor. (They were married from 1976-1982.) President John F. Kennedy also had a holiday home there for many years. It is also the site of many scenes from the NBC television series The West Wing, standing in as the President's hometown in several episodes. Linda Tripp (a key player in the Monicagate scandal) and her husband own a year-round Christmas shop, called the Christmas Sleigh, in Middleburg. The contestants of The Amazing Race: Family Edition visited Welbourne Manor in Middleburg.
